January Workshop 2024

As every year, our January workshop took place last month. In addition to defining the company goals for the new year and the process goals derived from them, we had plenty of time to get to know our colleagues a little better during the many team games and the evening event.

25. DWT – Marine Workshop

The Marine Workshop starts today in Linstow and we will be there again this year as exhibitors. We can expect exciting presentations on the topic of “Up and at the helm! Together for an operational navy” and we are looking forward to interesting discussions at our stand. Please feel free to drop by and exchange ideas with us on the testing and optimisation of sonars and on automation and digitalisation in maintenance.

New partnership with Rösch Consult Group GmbH & Rösch GmbH

Rösch Consult Group GmbH and Sachverständigenbüro Prof. Rösch GmbH as well as Spherea GmbH have concluded agreements on cooperation in several areas at the 8th Railway Forum in Berlin. A guideline, which was also published at the Railway Forum, will show maintenance companies for rail-bound vehicles how automated, digital test solutions can be introduced pragmatically and with reasonable effort in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the 4th Railway Package of the EU. In addition, both companies will in future push forward innovative solutions for testing brakes, in which pneumatic pressures as well as mechanical forces and their course curves are measured and compared in order to obtain a statement on the condition of the brakes.

We are part of Rü.Net again!

German Railway Industry Association – Code of Conduct

We are pleased that the German Railway Industry Association (Verband der Bahnindustrie in Deutschland (VDB) e.V.) also attaches as much importance to the topic of Environmental Social Governance as we do ourselves. The uniform Code of Conduct of the VDB, establishes a common understanding in the railway industry, simplifies and harmonizes the integration of corresponding rules for its member companies. Therefore, we have signed the VDB Code of Conduct with deep conviction and are very pleased about the initiative of the VDB.

EFQM Working Circle at Spherea

Last month, the EFQM Working Circle visited Spherea. We had the opportunity to present our leadersip approach, our LPA method and our customer management. Afterwards we received feedback to our strong points and our space for improvement following the principle of EFQM (a quality management system). Moreover, what they real identified as exceptional was the team spirit feelable all over the company.

Neu-Ulm University enters into strategic partnerships with SPHEREA

“Together we can achieve more than we can alone” is the motto of the new network between Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences and various companies from Ulm.
