Just in time for Labor Day, the city cycling event is taking place again all over Germany. The aim of city cycling is to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way over a period of 21 days. Of course, the Sphereans are taking part again.

Career Opportunity BayernMentoring
We support female students at Neu-Ulm University through mentoring. Mentoring means that a female manager from our company advises and accompanies a female student. In technical courses in particular, it is motivating to have role models from the real world. We have been participating in this great project for 2 years now with two female mentors from Spherea.

Merry Christmas
We have test kits for our customers’ electronics; unfortunately, no vaccine. You can have both. Get tested and even better, get vaccinated. All of our employees (100%) have done so. Social Engagement

Movember
SPHEREA can also wear a mustache!
The worldwide Movember movement supports various men’s health projects. We supported this symbolically by letting some of them grow a mustache; but also financially with a donation of 250€ by our employees – and we visibly had fun doing it: a kind of online team building.

Stress Management Workshop
Almost everyone has it, no one wants it – stress. Whether in everyday life or in private life, stress is hardly avoidable. But what is the best way to deal with stress? Is there anything you can do in the short and long term to deal with stress better?
These are precisely the questions that Spherea employees addressed in the 4-part workshop series on stress management.
Climate forest of the community Nersingen in cooperation with the company Spherea and the district Neu-Ulm
Last Friday, we planted the first trees of our 0.5 hectare climate forest with 1,635 trees in Nersingen. In the future, the forest will bind about 6 tons of CO2 per year. In addition to the contribution to the environment, it was a super team event for our employees after a long time. We were very pleased that the mayor of the community of Nersingen, Mr. Winkler, was also present. The whole action was supported by Mr. Angerer from the nature conservation authority in Neu Ulm.
In addition to supporting various climate projects through climate certificates, we would also like to do something for the environment in our own region, and this campaign came about as a result. As a medium-sized company, we want to set an example that everyone can contribute and hope to inspire other companies to make a contribution to our future together with communities, cities and districts.
