Project Description

The General Purpose Automatic Test Equipment (GPATE) is a generic test bench to test and maintain various Avionic equipment (Line Replaceable Unit = LRU). Its task is to localize defect boards and validate after repair the conformity of Units under test (UUTs) against their specification. Measurement instruments can be exchanged and Test Program Sets (TPS) can be enhanced to modify and add test and failure analysis capabilities to the customers need.

This test bench is currently used by European nations within the NH90 program for the maintenance of 34 different avionic equipment of the NH90 helicopter.
