Last week SPHEREA opened the new premises on another floor of the Plaza Center in Ulm, Söflingen. Since the spin-off from Airbus Group in 2016, the number of SPHEREA employees has more than doubled, so that the previous office space has become too small. With this step to more office space, SPHEREA is now “Ready 2 grow” further.

We had many interesting conversations and made new contacts at the Global Defence Helicopter exhibition in Dresden. Many thanks to everyone who visited us at our booth.

 

From 29^th to 31^st October 2019 the annual event “Combat Helicopter” with the new name “Global Defence Helicopter” will take place, for the 7^th time, in Dresden Germany. International operators, program teams, technical specialists and the industry will meet at this exhibition to take stock of the latest operational, training and program trends and exchange ideas and experience. SPHEREA is also one of the exhibitor. We would be delighted to present our product portfolio to you personally. At our stand you will find everything about customer-specific, digitized testing and simulation systems in complex, electronic and safety-critical environments.

We would like to thank all participants of the SPHEREA Forum 2019. The Forum was a complete success! Altogether we could welcome over 170 of our customers, partners and suppliers of railway technology, the military, the aircraft industry, various industry associations and Spherea employees.
In addition to the panel discussion, exciting presentations, a product show and various workshops on the subject of “Availability of different platforms” took place and there was plenty of time to exchange ideas and experiences.
Many thanks also to our employees, because without the energetic support of each individual, such an event would not be possible.

The project FIFAA „Fit for the working world with autism“ supports people with autism to start their working life. Social communication is expected in today’s working life however people with autism pay less attention to social signals and more to small details.

The aim of the project FIFAA is to help autistic people to make a smooth transition from education to work by improving compensation strategies and to support the company by hiring autistic people.

Spherea is now member of LR BW, the Forum Aerospace in Baden Württemberg. The LR BW is a representative for the industry in the Southwest in the fields of economy, science, politics and society. For Spherea, this is an opportunity to complement its work in the BDLI by exchanging ideas with the strong medium-sized businesses in our sector in southern Germany and to advance common interests. Martin Kugelmann, Managing Director of Spherea Germany and Rolf-Jürgen Ahlers, Head of LR BW and Managing Director of ProxiVision GmbH (one of Spherea’s business partners) met at the Pairs Airshow in Le Bourget.

During the AOC EW Europe Show in Stockholm, Elettronica and Spherea signed an agreement for a collaboration on EW test solutions for ESM/RWR suites installed on helicopters. With reference to the German NH90 Navy helicopter program, Elettronica is proposing its Radar Warning Receiver ELT/160, already selected by Italian Army and Italian Navy for their TTH fleet, Spherea supplies end-to-end test solutions to be used directly on the platform. Working together shall lead to added value for armed forces, in a first step for Germany and afterwards for other Nations interested in such testers, too. Elettronica and Spherea are intended to offer to BAAINBw a study in order to analyze the best technical solution for testing the ESM suite of the NH90 Navy.
